Kanta statistics are now available on the Info Tray portal

The Kanta Services offer an integrated source of data from health and social service providers on patients, clients and medical prescriptions. The statistics on Info Tray are updated monthly.

The Kanta Services are widely used by both public and private health and social service providers. Kela gathers statistics and monitors the use of the services and the amount of data stored in them. The data are collected from Kanta logs and registers.

The Kanta Services offer an integrated source of data from health and social service providers on patients, clients and medical prescriptions. The data are processed into statistics on key Kanta-related indicators, the total volume of data stored in Kanta, the utilisation of the data, and the use of MyKanta. The statistics are updated monthly.

Health and social service providers can request statistical summaries

The wellbeing services counties and other health and social service providers can contact Kela’s Kanta Services team to request statistical summaries of data stored in the Kanta Services. Available free of charge, the summaries can be used in the planning and monitoring of the service providers’ operations.
